Hi all, I recently purchased a Western Digital My Passport for Mac (500GB) in order to back up my macbook (OSX 10.5.8). When the drive arrived, Time Machine would start to back up, then it would just stop. Sometimes it would say it had an error writing to the drive, sometimes there would be no error, but nothing had been written to the drive (when entering time machine, there was no past backups to go to). When looking at the files on the drive itself, the file said 'in progress'.
