It would be better, if at all possible, if you contacted Apple tech support and asked for a new set of disks for your MacBook. They'll send you a set for a reasonable fee. I figured my computer wouldn't let me even start all this if the Tiger disk was incompatible with my G4. Well, it did proceed along and I watched as it installed a bunch of standard programs i already had on my computer.
