Hi Alex, I read about your previous posting and summary your issue with the following points: 1. In Outlook 2016 for Mac, only one Zimbra account is configured with an Exchange connection. This Zimbra account is also configured in your Blackberry. Any updates on Blackberry is unable to synced to Outlook 2016 for Mac.
Send/Receive manually in Outlook can download the Blackberry changes. If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to point it out. If that is the case, please try the following steps to narrow down the issue: 1. Disable syncing Zimbra account in Blackberry, and only use Outlook and Webmail to send/receive message. Confirm if the new message and any changes in Webmail can be synced automatically on Outlook 2016 for Mac. Close Outlook 2016 for Mac, do any changes in Blackberry for Zimbra mailbox, make sure the changes has been updated in Webmail. Then open the Outlook 2016 for Mac to confirm if the changes is updated in Outlook.
Keep both Outlook 2016 for Mac and Blackberry opened for Zimbra account, do any changes on Webmail, check the updates in Outlook and Blackberry respectively. Setup this Zimbra account with IMAP connection on Outlook for Mac, and confirm whether the issue can be reproduced. Additionally, I am not familiar with the Zimbra account. Free phone call software for mac. But for Microsoft Exchange account, it is not recommended to do any changes for Calendar processing in any ActiveSync devices: In your scenario, please also contact your Zimbra support and confirm if there is any sync issue with Blackberry and Outlook for Zimbra account. Winnie Liang TechNet Community Support. Thank you for responding Winnie. You're almost right, its not that I make changes on my blackberry and dont see it in outlook but when an email is sent to my account it shows up on my blackberry and in webmail without issue however in order to see that email in Outlook 2016 I need to click 'send receive'. So for the testing scenarios. I disable blackberry syncing via the webmail interface and send an email to myself from gmail. Result: Received in webmail, not receive on blackberry, not received on Outlook.
Clicking send receive retrieves email. I close outlook, send myself an email from gmail and then reopen Outlook Result: Email is received in webmail and upon Outlook loading the email arrives 3. I changed the test a little bit as the blackberry is out of the picture with sync disabled. Created calendar appointment in outlook Result: Shows up in Zimbra/webmail B.
Created calendar appointment in zimbra/webmail. Result: Does not show up even after clicking 'send/receive' however after closing Outlook and reopening it the appointment shows up. I have created a parallel IMAP account and sent an email from gmail to my account Result: Email shows up in webmail and outlook as expected. Ive circled back with my Zimbra administrator and they say everything is working fine and given the blackberry and Outlook 2013 on windows works flawlessly it really seems to be an issue with Outlook 2016 on mac. Thanks for all your help and looking forward to any other advice I can try to get this to work.
