Holy **** there are a lot of people that need this. I could send you screen shot after screen shot of month view calendars where certain days have that godawful down triangle when there are at least TWO FULL LINES THAT COULD BE USED FOR APPOINTMENTS. I mean seriously who does that? Just horrible programming carrying over from 2003 to 2007 to 2010. I've called and created support tickets, tis futile i tells ya, futile. After maximizing my screen resolution (my default) and hiding the ribbon, I still only got 4-5 entries to appear in each day of Month View for the Outlook 2010 Calendar. I wanted as many as I could squeeze -- and the amount of space currently taken up vertically by each entry seemed excessive (lots of empty space). Here's how I solved this problem for myself. Turns out by changing the font for those entries can drastically affect both horizontal and vertical space used. What program for the mac can take the place of quicken. While I was getting lots of horizontal room by using Arial Narrow Bold 8pt, I ended up settling in with Tahoma Bold (or non-Bold) 7 pt.
Yes, even though '7' isn't listed in the drop-down as a point-size, you can force it in manually. These font changes are done in View -> Change View -> Manage Views -> (select view) -> Modify -> Other Settings -> Month Font Cool, now I've got room for 6 entries per day, which works for me.
